Mayor’s Visit to North Wales Superkids

Yesterday, the Mayor of Flint, Councillor Russ Davies, and the Mayoress, Councillor Norma Davies, had the privilege of visiting North Wales Superkids – an outstanding local charity based here in North Wales that continues to transform the lives of over 2,000 children and young people across the region.

During their visit, the Mayor and Mayoress met with professionals who work alongside Superkids, as well as the passionate team of volunteers and trustees who keep the charity going strong — not only at Christmas, but throughout the year. The support they offer to underprivileged children is truly inspiring, and it was humbling to hear about the exciting new projects planned for the future.

Founded 25 years ago by the late Margaret Williams, North Wales Superkids stands as a shining example of how compassion, community action, and dedication can make a real and lasting impact.

We’d like to thank everyone at Superkids for the warm welcome and for all the incredible work you do to support children across North Wales.

If you’re able to support the charity in any way — whether through volunteering, donations, or offering a helping hand — they would love to hear from you
