Mayoral Visit to Wales Air Ambulance – Caernarfon Airport

It was an honour for the Mayor, Cllr. Russ Davies and the Mayoress, Cllr. Norma Davies to visit the Wales Air Ambulance base at Caernarfon Airport – one of the Mayor’s chosen charities this year.

They received a warm welcome from the dedicated staff and highly skilled crew, who took the time to share their experiences and the vital, life-saving work they carry out across Wales. It was truly inspiring to learn how they maximise every resource to deliver such an efficient emergency service, entirely funded by public donations and charitable support.

In a powerful reminder of their mission, our visit was briefly interrupted when the crew were called to an emergency and launched into action right from the airfield.

We are incredibly grateful for the courage, professionalism, and commitment of the entire team. Their work saves lives and supports communities across Wales every single day.
