Fit, Read & Fed at Flint Castle

The Mayor, Councillor Russ Davies, attended the Fit, Read & Fed event at Flint Castle — a brilliant initiative supported by Flintshire County and Town Councils. It was great to see so many families out enjoying the sunshine!

Children took part in a wide range of free activities, including inflatable sports pitches, slides, reading and colouring stations, with sandwiches and drinks available to keep everyone fuelled.

Flint Town Council is proud to have financially contributed to this fantastic initiative, helping to bring opportunities like this to local families over the summer holidays.

A fantastic way to keep young minds and bodies active over the summer. Well done to all involved in organising such a successful day!
