Mayor’s Community Award

On Thursday 5th June, the Mayor, Cllr Russ Davies presented his very first Community Award to a truly deserving lady Sue Wynne.

The award was in recognition of her outstanding service to the age and dementia community in Flint. Sue dedicates so much of her time — all voluntarily — to support older people in Flint, Holywell, and across Flintshire.

Sue has also been instrumental in helping to set up the Flint Age & Dementia Friendly Community Coffee Morning, creating a welcoming and supportive space for many.

She is an amazing lady and it was an honour for the Mayor to acknowledge all that she does
