Mayor makes a donation to Giddos Gift
Today the Mayor, Councillor M. Buckley welcomed Mandy & Beth from Giddos Gift to make a donation to the charity, which is a extremely worthy cause helping to improve the lives of teenagers & young adults suffering from cancer.
This evening we will light up the Town Hall ‘Blue’ in memory of Jordan Giddins, also known as Giddo, the inspiration behind the wonderful the local charity that brings hope and joy to young adults and teenagers living with cancer.
Then tomorrow, the Town Hall will also be joining Giddo’s Gift in painting the Town ‘Gold’ to remember those taken too soon from childhood cancer. By going ‘Gold’, the Council hope to raise awareness.
