D-Day Remembrance Event

Flint will be joining in with the Beacons of Light Ceremony taking place across the U.K. to commemorate 80 years since the D-Day landings. Join us on Thursday, 6th June, as we honour and remember the brave heroes of D-Day.

11:00 AM: The Mayor, Councillor M. Buckley will lay a wreath at the Cenotaph. Everyone is welcome to attend.

9:15 PM: The Beacon will be lit in remembrance.

9:15 PM: The Cenotaph will also be illuminated in red, white, and blue.
