Unveiling of the The Purple Plaque commemorating Eirene White, Baroness White, the former MP for East Flintshire

On Friday 20th June, Eirene White, Baroness White, the former MP for East Flintshire was commemorated by a Purple Plaque which was erected at Flint Town Hall. Hannah Blythyn, MS nominated Eirene White and Flint Town Hall was chosen given Eirene White’s connections to the historic landmark.

The Mayor, Councillor Mrs. M. Perfect hosted a reception which was attended by a number of dignitaries, the plaque was unveiled by Jane Hutt, MS and Mr. B. Jones, nephew of Eirene White.
